The Pacific Highway crossing (officially Blaine/Pacific Highway) connects Blaine, Washington with Surrey, British Columbia along SR 543/BC Highway 15. It is a major commercial truck crossing and also serves passenger vehicles, offering an alternative to the adjacent Peace Arch crossing on I-5.
Best times to cross: Weekday mornings for passenger vehicles tend to be lighter. Commercial traffic is heavy throughout weekday hours. Weekend passenger volumes are significant but queues are generally shorter than at the Peace Arch.
Lane types available: Standard, NEXUS, Ready Lane, and FAST commercial lanes. Dedicated truck lanes available on both sides of the border.
Northbound (US to Canada): SR 543 cameras from Duty Free through D Street show US-side approach conditions in real time. Southbound (Canada to US): BC-15 cameras at 8th Avenue, Second Avenue, and the border provide full Canadian-side queue visibility.
